Greetings to all fellow members!
There is so much more to art therapy than colouring books! An evidence-based discipline adapted to clients of all ages, art psychotherapy can address a wide range of clinical presentations and life challenges.
On October 17th, Annelaure Vuillermoz, Phylaine Toh and Alex Koen, all registered art psychotherapists practicing at Colourfully, will facilitate a 1-hour workshop for APACS, prepared for all counsellors, therapists, social workers and HR directors who are keen to learn more about art psychotherapy.
During this workshop, Annelaure, Phylaine and Alex will describe their therapeutic approach, debunking a few myths about art therapy on the way. They will tell you how art psychotherapy may benefit clients, where it is practiced and taught in Singapore, before presenting briefly some of their clinical work. All your questions are welcome: you may send them at email@example.com before the workshop, or ask directly during the Q&A session. All participants will also be invited to visit Colourfully studio on December 12th, and hopefully join the team in an art making session!
