Charmaine Francesca Tan is a senior counsellor with 10 years of clinical experience managing youth from the Juvenile Justice System, Police and Ministry referrals. She provides clinical supervision to junior counsellors and social workers and is the Head of one of the Singapore Children’s Society’s four youth centres, RoundBox @ Children’s Society.

Charmaine believes in a systematic approach to youth work and works on developing the youth from the inside-out, working on their value systems and self-motivation to create sustained change. Apart from talk therapy, she adopts alternative methods to intervention including sports, outdoor therapy and art therapy. She is also certified in artistic therapies.
